New Blog

I started a new blog, Garden of the Infidel. No, not to replace this one. Just a little art and photography on the side. Paintings and photos by me of a non-political nature posted regularly. I certainly still plan on covering demonstrations and other events as they arise.

Good for you, UI! With all the critical image feedback you consistently give us, you certainly deserve the enjoyment and satisfaction of simply posting your artistic photos for fun, too! We all need some detachment avenues periodically.

I have always been a photgraphy buff, though with remedial abilities myself. My tastes are scenics and night shots. My dad was a pro like you, most especially gifted with taking people pics (I envy that specific ability as I don't have the patience to deal with posing them or waiting for the perfect moment). I will go eagerly to your new site to see what you have put up.

As always, my sincere thanks for your continued political coverage of the multitude of wackos, too!

You, too, started a photo site? So did I!

I have to take a break from Islam sometimes. Constantly tracking evil wear on the soul.

That's great, AOW!

I really enjoy your pictures. A nice view into your life and perspectives.

I needed a departure from politics myself. But I have some new stuff coming up quite soon. So stay tuned.

UI, once again you amaze me, my friend. Such passion you have for all you do. I'm jealous! I'm so drained by it all sometimes. Then again, I've started posting on my blog again. I think it's good to keep a balance between the fight for humanity and one's own sanity. To paraphrase AOW, it does take its toll on the soul, this evil-tracking. We all need a break sometime. The good thing is that we CAN take a break because we know we've got friends who will keep "firewatch" as my former USMC friend always says.
